My Fun and Horrible Weekend

My weekend started off great. I was given a Wii so I had a Wii party. It was awesome! We played tennis and baseball for five hours. Our arms were sore after a couple of hours but we kept going. By the time we were finished playing our arms seemed as if the were going to fall off. We should have quit as soon as we were tired because the next day I had to go to work and it was painful. But it was worth it because that evening after work we played again.

By Sunday my weekend turned into a nightmare. Sunday morning I awoke to learn that my two dogs were missing. My sister and I drove around all morning in search of them. We asked random people if they saw them, but know one had seen them. My search came to an end around one o'clock because I had to work. I spent the whole day wondering if they were home safely. When I got home, my dogs were snuggled in a blanket in the living room. I was happy for a moment, until I took a look at my cat's paw. He got into a brawl with another neighborhood cat about two weeks ago and we took him to the vet. They bandaged him up and gave him medicine and said he would be okay. We took him again and they re bandaged him and said to come back in ten days. On Sunday, his paw was immensely swollen, so we drove him to the emergency room. They let us know that he had a high fever and that his wound had been infected because the dressing was not changed frequently. They explained to us that they were going to give him medication for a while and if he did not respond to the medication, they were going to have to amputated his left arm. Being an animal lover, it broke my heart. I guess I'll just have to wait and see and pray that he gets better.
